“The moment one gives close attention to any thing, even a blade of grass it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself.”Β -Henry Miller
This week has just flown by, I love shooting water droplets on grass and what better way to shoot than by using backlighting, it gives such a magical feel to what could so easily be a very ordinary capture.
The bokeh effect surrounding the grass made the photo more splendid… Nicely done!

Thank you so much π They were all taken with a Canon EF100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM lens, this gives the very shallow depth of field. The settings on the top one were f/2.8 ISO 200 and shutter speed 1/400, the middle one was f7.1 ISO 400 and 1/400 the last one f/5.6 ISO 100 and 1/500 π

If you like shooting macro, then a dedicated lens does, I think, make quite a difference. I love using mine for portraits too. It is one lens I use rather a lot π
