On the edge
I so love it when the garden comes alive with butterflies and bees, it means my macro lens gets a good workout π
I am counting down the days before my 30 Days Wild project starts, even my kids are looking forward to it as we have a few things planned.
And I can feel the sunshine.

Looking forward to it, it should be fun. Are you posting about it too?

I will be posting on it, though not always on my WordPress site. I have a wildlife website so will be doing it there. It’s http://www.gobewild.co.uk Hope it was okay to put that. Your photography knocks mine into a cocked hat! π

Thank you for the compliment Barbara. Just flicked over to check out your site, great information, I will follow with interest (is commenting disabled on it?) We have quite a lot of the Ring-necked Parakeets that each evening are in the trees near my house, they often visit my feeders π

Thanks, Karen, really glad you like it! We don’t have many ring-necked parakeets in the West Midlands, so it’s quite exciting to be able to see them breed successfully. We’ve had a breeding pair in the park since 2009 but the juveniles tend to get eaten by various things, which means for years we’ve had no more than the two. It must be lovely to have them come into your garden. They’re quite vocal though! π
As for commenting on Go Be Wild…umm, I’ve just got round to adding the app now that you’ve mentioned it!!

They are indeed very vocal, they are quite numerous near me in Surrey. It is great seeing them on the feeders, I had to get quite a sturdy one as they broke a couple when they first started to visit π
